Defensive Skills Camp with Brian Connelly – Summer 2022

Brian Connelly played college hockey at Colorado College and subsequently played 5 five years in the American Hockey League where he was selected to the AHL All-Star game twice. He is currently finishing his 7th year of Professional hockey in Europe which includes stints in Sweden, England and Austria where he led the league in points by a defenseman in 2019.  He currently plays for EHC Lustenau in Austria.

This camp is limited to 12 skaters. To participate, the athlete must have played Bantam A hockey or higher last season.

In this camp, Connelly will teach a wide range of defense specific skills to include:

1) Skating Mechanics and Proper Footwork

2) Offensive movements along the blue line

3) Puck retrieval tactics

4) Gap control and 1v1 battle tactics

Camp is located at the St. Louis Park Rec Center.
